Regarding selling at full price and within a day: this isn't a probative metric. Especially with so many sellers and real-estate agents seemingly either in denial about the state of the market or slow to adapt to it, one can find similar properties in the same neighborhood priced with a hilarious degree of divergence. This differential will drive buyers even faster to the less expensive option. Something that is priced at the current market-clearing point *should* sell right away.
That said, yes, congrats to DrShort and his/her savvy agent.
