Below is a graph of Tim's KC SFH inventory log. The red line is 2007 inventory. The blue line is 2008 inventory.

It looks to me like we might have a negative YOY inventory soon.

Although one must keep in mind that new MLS rules remove pending listings from the inventory count.

(Does anyone happen to know when that happened?)

We have data on pendings somewhere right? Can we subtract pendings from last year's and this year's data to get numbers that are directly comparable?
