I've noticed a lot more rent-to-own listings on Craigslist postings up here in Snohomish County. They've typically been pretty run-down houses that had trouble selling.
The interesting thing now is that it looks like builders are getting in on this.

My favorite part of the listing: "As for the sales price, we simply take today's already reduced sales price and add $10,000 for each year you occupy the home! That is unheard of. That pricing is actually below the rate of inflation!
